Driving south, we will cross Irfane and pass through the Cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Highlands. We'll stop at Midelt, known as the "Apple City," where you can observe families of Barbary macaque monkeys. Next, we will cross the Tizi n'Talremt mountain and enter the Ziz Valley, filled with oases and palm trees. Begin the day with a luxurious breakfast, then set out to explore the area. Today you have two options depending on your mind set and how you feel you want to spend your desert day , first option ,hire a jeep or a 4 weels “ quad” Visit the Gnawa village of Khamlia and learn about Gnawa music and their way of life. Afterwards, journey into the Sahara desert to meet nomad families living under traditional Berber tents made from the wool of their animals. Enjoy a delicious local meal of Berber pizza with a Berber family for lunch. Today morning we start our full discovery day start driving to Kelâat M'Gouna to see the rose bushes, visit a rose cooperative and learn how rose oil and water are produced. In Ouarzazate, learn about its film history featured in movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down. Take a movie studio tour to learn more about the filming process. At Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the 11th century, explore the ancient ksar and its role in the trans-Saharan trade route. Climb to the Granary for a great view of the kasbah. Game of Thrones fans can visit the gates featured in the show by the river. Travel over the High Atlas mountains and see Mount Toubkal, the highest peak at 4,167 meters. Take a break at the summit for a panoramic view of the mountains. Visit an Argan Oil Cooperative in Taddert to learn about olive processing for various uses.
